What makes this tribute band special? Why and how so?
“We are committed to an authentic, passionate recreation of Alanis Morissette’s genius songwriting and multi-layered, unique music. We believe the proof is in the feedback we receive from people who come to our shows, and the history of being asked to return to the venues we have played due to the show’s success. Melissa engages strongly with our audience, and there is a surge of positive, emotional energy that is reciprocated by our fans. It is quite the experience to behold, we are very grateful.”
Where did the band get its start?
“We began as the brainchild of our singer and band leader, Melissa Schill, in 2021, and we’ve been actively playing in the tri-state area since early 2022.”
What is the routine and the communication on and off set between members?
“We all communicate weekly, and each band member’s input and feedback is utilized and valued equally. We are friends with one another, and respect each other greatly. We are very fortunate.”

What songs do you feel audiences enjoy the most from your set list and why?
“You Oughta Know is an obvious favorite, as well as Ironic, Uninvited, Thank You, Hand in My Pocket, and Hands Clean. Our audiences, especially the deeper Alanis fans, have a tendency to enjoy every song on our setlist, additional favorites include: Reasons I Drink, Unprodigal Daughter, Your House, and Mary Jane.”
What are some notable venues the band has played and would like to play?
“We have performed (in some cases, multiple times) at Daryl’s House Club, The Cutting Room, Musikfest, Ardmore Music Hall, Mickey’s Black Box, Rock the Farm Festival, XL Live, among many others. We will be traveling to Canada for the first time in early November, that has been a goal for our band for quite some time. We would love to perform in many theaters and venues, casinos, and festivals, too many to mention.”

Where can we hear your music and why should we? What makes you an iconic tribute?
“Our music can be found on our socials:

You should come hear us in person, the live band experience is the ultimate way to feel the vibe we lay down on stage and in personal interactions with the incredible people who come to our shows.”
Anything to add here?
“We call our followers/fans “Thrillers”, and we truly love their energy, and positivity. Those who attend our shows have shared wonderful feedback with us, and we couldn’t be more humbled and prouder that our show has contributed to happy times for thousands of kind folks who at times have driven hours to catch a show.

Questions For The Photographer-

What did you enjoy most about this shoot?

“What I enjoyed most about this shoot was the enthusiasm and professionalism of all the members of the band. They captured the sound and feel of an Alanis Morissette show and Melissa has a great voice and stage presence. She is very animated on stage and that is what I look for in a good band shoot.”

Do you recommend?

“I highly recommend this band to any venue that wants to hire a good band and a great vocalist!”
