What is the meaning behind the band name? Why and how so?

“Gravity Krush is a phenomenon where the gravitational force of a massive object is so strong that it overcomes all other forces. Wanted people to relate to our Or iginal songs that blow people away and keep them coming back for more.”

Where are some interesting venues you’ve played? Where do you plan on playing?

“In the past we opened for Major Record Label bands Whitesnake at the Mid Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie,NY. At the Chance Theatre in Poughkeepsie , NY we opened Major Record Label bands in Cracker, Seven Mary Three, SR 71, Sponge, Shades Apart, The Exies, July for Kings. Jimmy’s Chicken Shack and Matthew Sweet. In the past we also played a bunch of NYC places in CBGBs, The Elbow Room, The Continental, Acme Underground, Labarbat, Lamours. Recently we played in Newburgh, NY last month at the Untouchables, before that was at Ginny’s in Cornwall, NY and Quinz Pinz in Middletown. We have a up coming gig September 13 at the Old Castaways in Cornwall, NY. Hope to see you all there for Great Original Rock.”

Why do you believe audiences enjoy shows, and keep coming back?

“We like to space out our shows every other month to get the fans and crowds patiently waiting for more. They love to here our Original Rock Songs vs to a lot of cover bands out there. Something different for them to see.”

What is the routine like for band members throughout performances?

“Our routine is to make sure we have plenty of rest and eat light before each gig and have a great time at each and every show.”

If the band could pick any 2 incredible music industry executives to collaborate with, who are they working with?

“Rob Lanni and Eric Lawrence of Coalition Music. They were a big part of success for a Great band out of Canada called Our Lady Peace. We also love
Gary Gersh: A&R representative for DGC Records, he worked closely with Nirvana.one of our favorite bands that wrote catching music.”

Questions For The Photographer-

What was something different that stood out with their photos taken? Why and how so?

“I had been connected to one of the main players in the band for quite a few years, but for some reason, we never got together for a photo shoot or a show. I was very happy when they asked me to do this one for them. I had photographed Milo, the guitarist in several other bands he has or does play with. he is an excellent guitarist.”

Do you recommend them?

“Any venue that likes high-energy music played by seasoned professionals will enjoy this band very much.”
