Does God’s strength change people?
Previously we introduced you to an incredible author, Keith Lake, and his mission with God, in this news column publication. We can find healing through a connection with God. However, does that healing change us for good? What are some instances in our lives where God has changed us, perpetually, more than even healing can achieve?
“…and gave me a heart that could continue to care even when it felt like I had nothing left to give. He sustained me in every step, and for that, I give him all the glory.”
When God changes us, we become grateful individuals, and faithful beings who find peace in his presence. We feel a change within us.
“David Segal woke up different.
He could feel it in his bones. It wasn’t just another morning—it was a new beginning. He wasn’t the same man who had gone to bed last night.
For the first time in years, he didn’t feel burdened by the weight of self-righteousness. He didn’t wake up stressing about being *good enough*. Instead,
he felt… free.
His job at the police precinct hadn’t changed. The world around him was still in chaos. But now, he saw his role differently. It wasn’t just about maintaining order—it was about something greater.”
We can change. Even when it seems unlikely, in the presence of God, the healing we feel can change who we are as it is.
