Pavelly Moure- Interior & Home Design (April 2019)

Issue Four- April 2019:

By Mercedes Barreto

Pavelly Moure is a home designer and artist who loves to refurbish old things and bring them back to life. Between his style and his dedication to true perfection, this home designer deserves consideration as a potential brand name for all things design.

What was the inspirational turning point, in which creating a website seemed the best choice and the most beneficial option for you and your career, your craft, and profession?

“I have been working consecutively for the past two years by word of mouth, and/or being called back by the same clients to do updates in homes or to create something unique for them.

Every artist fears that their work isn’t acknowledged or appreciated. I guess honestly fear held me back, but I fear no more as I know my work is not 24kt gold. This is, meaning that not every single person is going to be fond of it, and that’s ok because beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I have many people that love what I create, so my website was created to find those that see the beauty in my work. To find my tribe.”

When discussing design, when it comes to the website
you’ve created, what is the glimpse you aspire, individuals,
to conceive when they first visit or browse your work, your site?

“That they see that I am an artist. That they see that I do not follow trends. I create them.

What colors are beautiful, and most people are stuck with earth tones and pastels… I see pastels and right away I think of ‘Thank you for being a friend, your heart is true you’re a pal & a confidant’ (A Quote From Golden Girls.)”

Is there a specific look, or signature, that you would like to impose onto onlooking customers/clientele, on your site, throughout the content on the site, which truly marks your style and craft, in terms of being a designer who leaves a footprint? How hard would this be?

“A look of joy and that of one of a kind. Vibrant and joyful colors. Plus I am not the less is more type…to me, more is more, and give me more.”

If supposedly, you could describe a term, or word, a concept, that defines your craft as a home, style, and design worker, what word would that be, and how would this theme or concept play out through the main layout of your site?

“A theme of ‘one of a kind’. One of ‘I have never seen this before, and I love it!’, but little do they know it’s been there all along, and I’ve just refurbished it. I am really the designer that every person would dream about, because to me, it’s about saving the client money, and in turn, helping to save our planet. Why throw away something that is still useful to buy something new?

I don’t have children, but I do have nieces and nephews, and I worry about their future, as well as the planet.”

When individuals order a product from you, however, this may occur, or whenever you reach this point, is there a motto you have in mind when your passion becomes a business, in terms of professionalism, and balancing work and craft life? Something you feel is key when creating for more than just yourself, but others?

“IMAGINE THE UNIMAGINABLE Is my motto..and this is my LOGO.

I want to blow their mind, and I want to make them think of every piece as perfect. But even then, every artist has that feeling of, ‘That is not finished, it’s not done!’ Your mind goes into this world of ideas, of colors, of shapes and sizes…”

Why should individuals ultimately visit your site and purchase your services or products? Is there a specific theme or benefit in mind via this kind of business purchase towards individual site viewers?

“First off, they will not find anything on my site that someone else has.

It’s all unique. Secondly, I am the type of designer that looks for ways to achieve a look for less, as I take pride in saying that an amazing transformation was created at a quarter of the original budget. Also, I believe in using what you have and everything that is sort of unique. That’s the thing about some people..they have an assumption that you have to have lots of capital to get a designer to redo your entire place. But in reality, however, you can use what you already have, and paint, reupholster, or break and reshape it into a new-to-you item.

Trust that I do love a huge budget, but I also like to help someone that doesn’t have a huge budget and is absolutely tired of their place…

As to me, the  design should not be only for the rich or the well off.”

How may a potential client get in touch and order a piece of furniture, product, service, or design?

“By either emailing me or calling the number in my site.”
