Jessica Ross- Words Of Gratitude (Best Comedy) (July 2021)
Issue Fifteen- July 2021:
By Mercedes Barreto
Recent advancements are always good. One would think that with so much going on in the societal scape, that we wouldn’t have time for such pleasures. We must move on with the basics qualities of necessity, and maybe we don’t have time for achievements then. Jessica Ross proves, time and time again, that you can work at what you love, and you always have time to succeed, regardless of what success means to you. We revise her career and profession as actress, host, model, etc. in this guided article.
What is the thrill, or the excitement, for being included in the awarding of a comedy, when considering the dedication and work you had committed into such production? If this is applicable, how do you feel the award is well deserved, for you and for others involved?
“Thinking about the thrill, dedication, and work I did, the words are gratitude, gratitude, gratitude!”
What are some other recent achievements, besides best comedy at the I-Hollywood Film Fest?
“I was able to secure distribution for my client’s docuseries “Wes Iseli’s Magic Life” distribution on the Jul-TV Network. I am also working on another tv show and hoping to begin several projects that were postponed due to covid.”
What are some of the things that inspire you to continue and create upcoming projects, in terms of the level of work you can contribute, and your satisfaction overall? Has Covid had any impact or effect on this subject? If so, how?
“My inspiration to continue to create is life and everything that is going on around me. What attracts me to do another project and for it to be satisfying is helping and sharing my journey with my life that may have so much to do with what others are experiencing. I doubt that there aren’t too many people that didn’t feel the disappointment, the fear, the moments of what’s going to happen? The effects of COVID seem almost never-ending, I thought this would be over by now.”

What does success mean to you? Describe this feeling, and maybe even in a more recent interpretation, in 3 words, describing each word with descriptive context.
“Serenity, a feeling that you get when things are going well all the time. Another word is the word ability, for the ability to support all the charitable endeavors I believe in. Third, even though I’m rarely at home during normal times, I’d really like to own one which is quite an accomplishment in Southern California.”
Do you see yourself being more successful in a given time, more than you would have expected or estimated in a previous time period before? What does success mean to you, if different now than before, and what would this progress consist of, if applicable?
“Success means always moving forward whether it’s consistently auditioning, learning new skills, or booking a role. During the past 1.5 years, I learned to be more patient. Things don’t always go your way. It may take longer than you wish but that is just part of life.”
Where can we hear about all of your recent progress and projects which are available for the public to enjoy?
