Alternative rock band Libricide has released a dynamic new EP titled Kismet, which debuted on Friday, December 26, 2025. The release features four singles that showcase the band’s evolving sound and continued creative momentum. To support the project, Libricide has launched a series of promotional efforts, including mini music videos for each single along with a collection of professionally produced photographs highlighting the album’s aesthetic.

The band has also been actively performing live. Recently, Libricide opened a show featuring LFO and Trevor Penick of O‑Town. Looking ahead, they are scheduled to share the stage with Powerman 5000 and 12 Stones in Frenchtown, New Jersey, on May 9, with additional performance dates expected throughout the year.

With Kismet, Libricide continues to build momentum both in the studio and on the live stage, offering fans new music and energetic performances as they move into the coming year.

“Nothing’s Missing” captures the moment when one reaches emotional clarity, confronting the exhausting cycle of trying to fix what isn’t broken. With powerful lyrics that plead for acceptance, the song tackles the universal struggle of dealing with insatiable expectations, delivering a resonant message: sometimes, nothing is wrong—some people just can’t stop searching for flaws.

Built on a foundation of haunting riffs and goosebump-evoking lyrics and soliloquy, “Existension” erupts with gut-wrenching solos and driving choruses that are both as vulnerable and speculative as they are tethered to accepting one’s fate. For anything unique and worth fighting for comes with its own price, challenges and struggles. By the final refrain a trembling guitar leaves the listener questioning not just the character in the song, but themselves, expertly capturing the tension between inner conflict and outward expression as the group marks one of its most gripping and ambitious releases.

There comes a point in many people’s lives where ambition and exhaustion become bedfellows. You keep striving, struggling, pushing through – only to suddenly forget what it feels like just to be alive. Take a stock of your surroundings; there was a time when you told yourself you would finally be happy and content with the things you have now. “Side Quest (Steal The Night)” is very much about this outlook.

Libricide is a multi-faceted modern music group and production house based out of New York, USA, fusing styles and taking stages to create an original sonic experience that broadens your mind and gets stuck in your head. Holding down multiple roles at the forefront of Libricide is Producer/Writer/Frontman Harun Gadol, who originally released the group’s first EP – Barriers To Entry. The group was soon on the rise amidst their local tri-state area live circuit, finding talented and like-minded musicians to support the recording and touring lineup. LIBRICIDE STUDIOS is the band’s HQ, a production house that expands their following to an extensive reach through covers, viral content, and video production, which has included national and international collaborations. This creative outlet has gained them attention outside of the scope of their music, while still drawing newcomers in to discover the sounds of Libricide. Their adaptability has led Libricide everywhere from singer/songwriter bills to the heaviest of metal lineups, and to sharing stages with the likes of Ace Frehley, Chevelle, Hoobastank, Puddle of Mudd, Stone Temple Pilots, and Yngwie Malmsteen, just to name a few! As they reside in their unity of genre, Libricide also expands into the unity of sound and visuals, with cinematic, animated and live music videos accompanying their latest full-length work, as the band continues to grow and enrich their musical explorations now and into the future.
