What does an individual refer to by consistency? Do they refer to the work and the ethic behind their craft, or the quality of their trade and the skills needed to consistently succeed, therefore being consistent? Michael Mathis is an actor aspiring for the masses, and his consistency has helped him thrive towards the big screen, in a means of making it big, and soon. We read up on the aspirations behind this acting star, in this guided, yet informative article.

What is acting to you, and where do you see yourself in a given time? What defines success to you, and in general?

“Acting to me is everything. It’s a combination of mental and physical knowledge of the character you are portraying. It’s about bringing that character or action to life to the camera and the audience. I see myself in a given time on more tv shows and movies worldwide. Success isn’t how much money someone has, or how about how much I have, but how I have impacted people that look up and watch me. Also, as well as accomplishing personal goals that you have for yourself.”

Has the pandemic affected you in any way, good or not? How and why so?

“The pandemic has affected my acting at the beginning of the first shut down since it slowed a lot of productions for tv shows and movies down. I didn’t let that get me down because modeling came knocking on the door more than ever with being able to still shoot feet away for a photoshoot. This did not slow down my tour of traveling (Mike Mathis Tour) around the nation, yet only pushed me to travel more, but with precautions. I want to thank everyone that supported me and that I met during the pandemic as well. It didn’t and hasn’t made the industry easier but I do love a challenge.”

If you could pick just one word that describes your latest achievements in 2021, what is that word, in specific detail, and according to which achievements?

“My one word would be consistent. This has helped me surpass my personal goals and achievements. Even going through the pandemic, I have remained consistent, and it really has helped in every aspect.”

What is your ideal next role in a movie, if you could pick a movie that would make it big, and you also had a choice in your character to play?

“My ideal role in a movie is a supporting or lead role that has an effect on the movie. I’d love for a role in rideshare or social, two short film movies that were brought to life by Daniel Vidal to make it big. I got to thank him for pushing the start of my leading roles in shows and movies.”

If theatre, acting, film, etc. were eradicated for a whole year by the world’s governments strangely, in the form of a purge, how would this affect you as an actor, and how would you personally express this anger and disdain, even?

“If acting and film were eradicated, it would definitely make a huge impact around the world, especially in the form of a purge. This would largely have an effect on me as an actor because this is my world and I love what I do. As said in the movie Purge, “Let’s purge!”, is how I would express and let it be known that this would take effect worldwide, not just locally.”

Everyone is going to want to keep up with this because I am going to be in a lot of different movies and tv shows that are very well known. This is as well as working with well-known actors and actresses and models. Michael Mathis is a name to remember in the industry because of the positive impact I’m having in the industry and about how I’m willing to help anyone. My consistency with working on different projects from tv shows to movies, and in modeling will keep even a NON-Michael Mathis fan interested in what I will be in next.”
