Why choose the rockabilly genre?
“It’s been a passion for 35 years, the purest form of rock n roll and certainly the most raw and exciting.”
How do the band members vibe? Why and how so?
“The band is essentially Jack and Amy who started playing together 28 years ago in the Raging Teens. We’ve played music together for so long it feels like we’re probably extensions of each other. Amy is the star of the show, a real “take off” guitarist who has her own very unique style.”
What are some recent venues that are a proud part of the band’s lineup?
“We loved the Stone Church in Brattleboro! In our time playing we’ve travelled the world from Europe to Australia. The Viva Las Vegas festival is an annual fun party we’re honored to be part of.”
Who would the band love to collaborate with, whether it be two or even three executives in the industry, producers, etc.?
“I don’t know of any executives in the industry, not really sure what that industry does any more. Our records are exclusively produced by Shorty Poole in Los Angeles, we love what he does and have no plans to change it.”
Is there a song that you feel has the biggest impact overall? Why and how so?
Probably “Tonight’s the Night” the title track from our last album. It sort of sums up the fun we love to have.”
Where can we hear and learn more about you, and why should we? What makes this an iconic rockabilly band?
“We’re likely coming to a festival or stage near you at some point in the future. We’re on social media and our music streams on most platforms. Follow us and find out where we are! As far as iconic, I don’t know about that. Happy to keep the legacy of this beautiful music form going, and just happy people seem to like what we do!”
Questions For The Photographer-
Do you recommend the band for future opportunities, performances, and why?
“If you are a fan of the Rockabilly Genre you will love this band, great vocals and hot lead guitar will leave you wanting more.”
What is most special about the band? And about the photo session with them?
“The special thing about this band and the photo shoot was I didn’t even know they were playing that night, I was there to photograph Rev Horton Heat, another great Rockabilly act. I was pleasantly surprised when they opened started playing. They were very animated which is something I always look for…def a great band to go out and hear.”
