Sweet Cambodia- Epic Highlights (November 2018)

Sweet Cambodia struck me as one of the most talented bands yet to be discovered by many. The band, native to the city of Orlando, Florida, is a very new experience, and a very ‘funk rock’ genre music that will keep you entertained and intrigued throughout.

What sparked the beginning of Sweet Cambodia?

 “Well…  That can be summed up to spreading love, dancing our butts off, and basically, saving a life, because that’s what music does.”

Sweet Cambodia stands for:

‘Stop With Entertaining Enterprises Today Can’t Anyone Make Brilliant

Original Decisive Indiscriminate Action.’

How do all the bandmembers get along, on and off tour?

“Like three brothers whose parents just lost them on a hike in the jungles of  South America, a couple of words come to mind, such as wild, non-stop insanity, and survival.” 

What part of being in Sweet Cambodia is the most rewarding?

“Our friends that we have made along the way, whether it’s someone’s first show or someone we haven’t seen in a while.

We always look forward to making new friends and catching up with old ones.”

Do you see Sweet Cambodia as a current or a potential instant hit success?

“I think hits are a dime a dozen, with success being so subjective.

Sweet Cambodia aims for longevity or something that is going to be hereafter us.”

What can you say to all of those who do or do not follow you, as a message, straight and genuine from the band, to describe Sweet Cambodia?

“We love you. Whether or not you know us yet, we love you. We aim to create a musical and social environment where you can be you.

We believe in having a rad time and not thinking twice about it.

Whatever we do on and off stage, we are always going to try to do it with love.”
