Tatiana is a singer/songwriter from New York and is a lover of all genres of music. She mesmerizes and captivates with her heartfelt vocals, in her new musical release, ‘Hurt You’.

What is it about the lyric in your music that brings out the most emotion within you? Is there a truth to the lyric and its sentiment, or is it just geared towards a more simplistic form of artistic expression?

“The lyrics in this song are very real and describe everything I felt at the time that I wrote it. Releasing this record allowed me to let go of some resentment I had been holding on to for some time.”

What do you do to prepare before a performance? Do you feel nervous, or do you have outstanding confidence? How so?

“I’m always nervous before a performance. That’s still something that I’m working on, but it’s been difficult since all the venues have been shut down. I think finding the right outfit and makeup is very important for live shows, it’s important to find something that makes you feel comfortable.”

What plans do you have for the future? Where do you see yourself in a near future, in a few years?

“I’m working on my first project, it’s set to release sometime this summer. In the future, I want my songs played in movies and tv shows, such as Euphoria.“

What words describe your thoughts when it comes to your state of being as an artist? Determination, perseverance, or very sincere gratitude for the blessings one must have to achieve such results as an artist?

“I feel that I’ve grown a lot as an artist because of the pandemic. It’s given me so much time to reflect on what I want to say with my music. I feel grateful for the opportunity to express the things that I’m feeling.”

Why do you feel in your heart and mind that people should listen to your music? What are some qualities in your musical craft that stand out from the rest?

“My music is genuine; I don’t write about things just because they sound good or because it’s popular at the moment. I write from my heart, and I write for myself.”
