What inspired the beginning of Crossfire Hurricane? Why and how so?

“Crossfire Hurricane started out as a Sunday tradition before dinner. My son (Marco Lamberti) and I would jam on some tunes every week. In order to help him learn the drums we would select various classic rocks tunes and play them. After my son Marco sat in a tune with the cover band I play with “Whoz Ya Daddy” the lead singer Chuck St. Troy decided to come over one weekend to jam with us. He was surprised to see the young drummer well versed in the classic rock catalogue and by his ability on the drum kit. We kicked around the idea of doing a show just for fun at a local club or restaurant. We wound up performing the open mic at Pete’s saloon in Elmsford NY and landed the gig based on how well we performed. Everyone was amazed by our talented young drummer.”

Where are some notable venues to mention that you’ve played? Why are they significant?

“Pete’s Saloon – since it was the first venue to give us our big break.

Park City Music Hall – our first big theatre show.”

What song do you believe resonates best with the listening audience? What song has the highest performance expectation?

“Jumpin Jack Flash – which has the band name in the song lyrics “I was born in a crossfire hurricane”

Can’t you hear me knocking – which shows off the musicianship of the band.”

Why the name ‘Crossfire Hurricane’? Does it have meaning?

“Rolling Stones Lyric – We are a Rolling Stones Tribute Band.”

What makes them iconic performers/musicians to note?

“There is no band out there that features a 10-year-old drummer who is a virtuoso. In addition, the band includes some of Westchester premier musicians who have performed on the circuit for years. Youthfulness and experience make this band one of a kind.”

Questions For The Photographer-

What makes the band stand out in their photos? Why and how so?

“This band is a Rolling Stones Trib Band, the singer really looks the part. The music is as authentic as it gets. I am a big fan of the Rolling Stones and these guys did a great job of performing this material. Also their drummer is rather famous in the area, he is only 10 years old but does a GREAT job playing behind this band. I am a drummer myself and can appreciate how good he is.”

Do you recommend Crossfire Hurricane for venues in times to come?

“If people like the music of The Rolling Stones, they will love this band, they are very animated, the singer even plays sax, they really do a great job.”
