Founder and owner of the new ‘Told Ya’ social platform, Matthieu Toulemonde, gives us deep insights on his new sports site and the vision behind this new creation. What if you don’t need an expert to prove you are RIGHT?
“The World Cup is here. I’ve been working on this idea for 2 years.
So, what is it?
Told Ya. It’s the premiere social platform for football predictions.
The idea’s simple: almost everyone has a football opinion, but nowhere to actually put it on the record. Told Ya gives them that place, and lets them show the world how often they’re actually right.
I recently launched Told Ya WC, the beta version, to find out if the idea holds up. I came up with the idea, and the name, 2 years ago in a conversation with my uncle, Gilles T. It was another conversation with him that pushed me to finally go for it, do it now, or I would spend my life wondering. The cold start has been a mess. Yet, it’s also been the best learning experience I’ve had, and I can’t wait to learn more as I go.
Now the goal is simple: Go check it out, join, and put your craziest football take on the record.

According to AI internet sources, “Academic research and industry analysis show that sports experts and pundits typically achieve an accuracy rate between 55% and 65% when predicting single-game outcomes. This places their success slightly above a coin toss, though generally on par with or slightly below advanced machine learning models (which cap out around 66% – 72%.”
