What is the vibe for the present moment? Why and how so? 

“The vibe now is celebrating my first single release, “Convivial.” It’s something I’ve been waiting for the longest time, and It’s finally out in public. I’ve worked so hard to get to where I am today because I want my dream to become a very successful singer/songwriter to come true!”

Is there a highlight for the current time that you would like to specify?

“My first single release, “Convivial,” is such a big deal for me! So many people message me privately and comment on my posts that they love the song, and it’s been stuck in their heads! The goal is to get all my songs stuck in people’s heads in a good way. I wrote this song last year for Valentine’s Day, surprising my boyfriend with this song I wrote about him. He was very impressed and emotional when he heard it for the first time, and that’s when he knew I had potential with music. It’s like he knew before me that I had the potential to become a singer/songwriter.”

How would you describe progress if you could measure success or define progress now?

“For a person just starting with pursuing music, where I’m at is significant progress. It takes people years to write songs and release them. Over this past summer of 2022, I said I wanted to pursue music as my career. It’s January, and I already have my first single out and got a few gigs lined up with myself as an individual artist and with my band. I learned so much these past few months with singing from voice lessons, songwriting with the class I took recently, and teaching myself to play guitar/piano. I’m going to continue learning music. I hadn’t gotten the chance to do it back in the day since I was focusing on the visual arts. I’m a very hard-working, motivated, driven girl, and when I want something, I chase after it until I get what I want.”

Do you feel a certain nostalgia when talking about the here and the now? What sensation now describes this moment, and how does your music reflect this? 

“Well, my music is living in the present of what’s going on in my life based on relatable things. For example, my first song, “Convivial,” is about my current relationship with my boyfriend, expressing my love for him. My other songs, “Shadows Within Me” and “My Own Worst Enemy,” are also about the presence of what I’m currently feeling. The next piece I’m writing is about my passion for music and the dream of becoming very successful in my music career. So my songs reflect much about the past, present, and future.”

What are your current goals for this moment as we speak? 

“To continue learning and improving with writing music, singing, and playing guitar/piano. Also, writing as many songs as possible to release them on all music platforms, gigged in as many restaurants/venues as possible, collaborated with other talented musicians, and got a music video for my next original song, “Shadows Within Me.” “

If you could find people to join you in your present moment to uplift you both personally and musically, who would you be honored to share this moment with? 

“My boyfriend Daniel Madeson because he’s a musician himself and we share similar interests in our music. We both had a lot of success with our music careers, so it’s nice to cheer each other on. I also love sharing this moment with my family and friends, who have supported my music career.”
